    SITE RULES

    1. Flaming
*Flaming is strictly forbidden. There is a Zero tolerance policy for flaming.
First offense = 3 day suspension
    Second offense= 1 week suspension
    Third offense = Ban

Flaming is defined as verbal abuse towards a member or group of members, While we realize flaming can be a part of "joking around" So if it is in that manner and isn't taken beyond normal moral parameters, It shall be permitted, However if you are asked to stop by anyone. Then YOU MUST STOP, If you fail to comply with this request, Then you shall face suspension.

*You must respect the fact that people may have a different opinion than you.

    2. Advertising
*The only advertising allowed on this forum is affiliation. To request an affiliation application please PM an admin, if you are caught advertising a member of staff will warn you, if these actions do not cease you will be banned.

    3. Pornography
*Posting pornography on the site is strictly fobidden, anybody seen posting pornography on the site will be banned without question.

    4. Racism
*This is a serious matter and can cause an extreme amount of offense to the person who the comments are aimed at or if a member stumbles across them as they are extremely disrespectful/offensive and will NOT be tolerated. Even if in a joking manner. ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN
Members who are found speaking in a racist manner shall face Being Banned.

    5. Plagiarism
*Taking and/or posting anything that doesn't belong to you and saying it is your own work is strictly prohibited on the forums, if something is not your own make sure that the creator has been credited appropriately.

    6. Spamming

*Spamming messages are generally messages like "I feel like this too" or, "How do you do that?" ones that really don't add anything to the topic, please refrain from such short posts unless it is necessary, the only place you can spam is in the spam sections.

    7. Admission to the moderating team

*DO NOT ASK TO BE ON STAFF, As it is immature and unprofessional. Doing so eliminates you as a possiblity as a staff member. If you wish to join the staff, fill out the moderator application and we shall review your application.

    8. Double posts/ and post length-

*Flood and off-topic : Flood must be avoided. One-word posts such like "lol", "rofl" or a single smiley must be avoided.
You must also avoid to post the same topic twice in a row, it will not be faster for you to get a response.
As long as you topic is not in the second page of the support section, it is useless to up it. The minimum delay between two Ups is 24 hours, according to this board's default time zone (GMT - 5).
If you make a mistake, please use the button at the bottom-right of your post, to avoid double-posting

If you don't find your topic, it may have been moved to a more appropriate place. If you have a question, PM a moderator if you need help finding it.

*Double post is only tolerated under certain circumstances.

    1) In every section if previous post is longer than 1000 words due to word limit in this forum.

    2) In GFX section to show new works and in cases where you have to do double post so we could know that you have updated the topic( For ex. if you are doing a challenge and want to keep us informed about your journey).

    9. Colors/and post etiquette:

*Colors and capitals and size : When you write your message, please don't abuse capitals (it means that you shout), colors and bold. Re-sizing your text is also a bad idea. Overly large text ressembles screaming.

Colors and Bold/Strong text are reserved for moderation, therefore don't use them.

    1) When we edit a post and add a comment, we write our comments in our moderation color to make it distinguishable from the poster's message.

    2) The use of color makes people know when we are talking as a moderator. When we use default color, we talk as a normal member.

3)Colored thread titles are meant for use by staff only. Staff uses colored thread titles to convey importance.

*Language on this forum : When you write in English, SMS (cell phone) style message, L3375P34K (leetspeak) and deliberate mistakes must be avoided. Non-English people, as well as English people, must be able to understand what you write, so put a minimum of care in your English, even if your English is not very good.

    10. Staff members

*The Staff of FFR are extremely approachable, if a problem arises please contact a staff member. That's their job after all, be polite and respectful to staff; users who are impolite or rude to staff will be warned, although approachable people, we expect respect for the work that we do.

*Ignoring the moderators' warnings and continuing to not respect the rules, insulting people and trolling may result to a simple ban from this forum, according to the gravity of the member's fault.

*You must respect the moderators and administrators. They all work volontarily on this forum and they are human, not machines!

    11. Avatar and Profile

*Avatar dimensions : Your avatar's width must not exceed 150 pixels and its height must not exceed 200 pîxels. These limits are here to avoid scrolling for people who have a low screen resolution. You must also respect the limit of weight which is fixed to 300 KB. There are still people who have a low-speed connection, and heavy pictures take time to load for them.

We reserve the right to amend these rules as needed.

    Sincerely,
    The VGAF Staff.
